IQM Quantum Computers has signed its first sale in Japan, an IQM Radiance system to 株式会社東陽テクニカ/TOYO Corporation, marking the first enterprise quantum computing acquisition in the country. Japan has set some of the most ambitious national quantum targets in the world. ¥1.05 trillion in quantum investment. 10 million quantum-capable users by 2030. Those targets require institutions that own and operate sovereign systems — not just access them remotely. Toyo Corporation will deploy the system to advance quantum technology and talent development across the Japanese industry. IQM operates systems across South Korea and Taiwan.
