IQM has launched an HPC Integration Service, allowing its quantum computers to operate as Slurm nodes within High-Performance Computing environments, streamlining the integration of quantum workloads with existing classical computing infrastructure.
Quantum just joined the HPC workflow. Today, we are launching our HPC Integration Service. IQM Radiance systems can now run as Slurm nodes inside HPC environments. Quantum workloads can be scheduled alongside CPUs and GPUs using the workflow data centers already use. Enterprises and research institutions want quantum integrated into the environments they already operate. Our new service removes the custom integration work that has slowed adoption across the industry. This is our Production Quantum model in practice: quantum you own and operate. The service is already running at the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ) in Germany. The underlying work is published on arXiv — https://arxiv.org/abs/2604.19869 Read the announcement here: https://iqm.tech/press-releases/iqm-launches-hpc-integration-service-to-accelerate-hybrid-quantum-hpc-adoption/ #IQM #QuantumComputing #HPC Jan Goetz Eric Mansfield Hermanni Heimonen Sylwia Barthel de Weydenthal Juha Vartiainen Juha Hassel Inés De Vega Tomi Riipinen Blair Robertson Mark Falcon Pasi Kivinen Dimitrios Papadogonas Soren Hein
