Today, we're excited to announce that Kuva Space and IHI Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to advance hyperspectral Earth observation capabilities in Japan. Building on a demonstration phase that began in November 2025, we'll work together to evaluate our constellation capacity, define requirements for a Japanese sovereign hyperspectral constellation, and explore how that capability could be built and operated in Japan, including potential domestic satellite manufacturing. We're looking forward to continuing our work with IHI and supporting the future of sovereign Earth observation in Japan.
