Is the era of hyperspectral as a niche tool ending? We think so! NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Earth Science Division Commercial Satellite Data Acquisition Program selected Kuva Space US as one of the eight new commercial EO data providers under its $476M contract. Beyond the immediate milestone, the decision signals where hyperspectral sits on the maturity curve, moving beyond the limited cadence and high cost that long kept it out of routine use and into the realm of operational, procurable infrastructure.
