Kova Labs has been selected for Phase II of the BraveTech EU DefTech Forges program by the European Defence Agency, securing €120K and placing among the top three showcasing teams.
Autonomy for the real world. Kova Labs is honoured to announce its selection for Phase II of BraveTech EU DefTech Forges – program by the European Defence Agency In June, our team spent a week in Estonia working side by side with operators and end users in the field and placed among the top three of all showcasing teams, winning €120K from the European Defence Agency. Kova Labs develops and deploys autonomous systems built for the most complex environments — forests, urban areas, indoor settings, and trenches. By bringing adaptive autonomy to the tactical edge, we enable mass autonomous operations where the fighting actually happens: denying the adversary's freedom of movement and turning every infantryman into a drone operator without ever having to pilot a system manually. "Being selected for Phase II validates what we set out to prove in the field: that very low-cost, fully autonomous and intelligent platforms can operate in the most complex environments. We simply go where others can’t. It was great to see the impressed faces of European and Ukrainian military officers and soldiers, and to get to answer all the ‘how did you do it’ questions,” said Luukas Lohilahti, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Kova Labs. Grateful to the European Commission, European Defence Agency, Darkstar, and Civitta for the trust placed in Kova Labs. Link to the full article in the comments.
